Great shoe for multiple uses
I know the shoe is suppose to be a trail running shoe. However, I use them as a walking / hiking shoe. I wanted a shoe that I could wear for the majority of most days. It would be a little heavy for my liking as a running shoe. I did try a 8 mile run with them, but I could tell they are a little heavier than my regular running shoes. I do admit that these shoes have more protection on the toes and the soles. I can feel stepping a small rock or pebble on my regular running shoes where I would hardly notice it with these shoes. The shoes have stood up to wear and tear much better than other shoes I have worn. I walk a mile at lunch each day, which was wearing the tred on my other shoes fast. These shoes were well worth the price and fit my feet well.
