Therm-a-Rest Camp Seat Self-Inflating Cushion
This is a great product and I highly recommend it. I use it in my car and on long plane trips. It is very comfortable and the self-inflating feature works perfect.
Not big enough for large people
it is just too small for larger people - not comfortable at all. When fully inflated and sat upon by a large person - the excess flesh that spills over the dimensions of the cushion are left "hanging" - shall we say - hence leaving the sitter with the feeling of something bulging underneath - and if you have a sore tailbone - this will only magnify the problem...........
Great accessory for long-haul flights
The therm-a-rest seat provided excellent support and cushioning for my entire flight from New York to Auckland, New Zealand and back. I wondered how I had survived other long-haul flights without it. You feel like you are resting on a pocket of air, and you can adjust to your comfort level. It works fabulously well (I used it in the rental car as well). I would only say that it might not be as comfortable for people with short legs, since it does add a tiny bit of height to your sitting level. If your legs barely touch the floor in an airline seat, this cushion will only exacerbate that problem. But otherwise, this is an extremely worthwhile investment, especially when used with the 1st Class Sleeper. Used together, it's almost like business class, without the 180 degree pitch (and good service).

My friend and I purchased these seats for an African safari since we'd heard that the seats weren't always comfortable and the roads were very rough. These seats were easy to use and pack, and made a big difference in our comfort level.
