Good Value, and a comfortable airbed

4.0 / 5.0

It's a pretty good bed, one of the best in its price range. The only complaint would be that it's a little harder to get all the air out (due to the location of the built-in pump). But otherwise, it's working great so far, and keeps its air for several days. It may need a little top-up from time to time if slept on by 2 people (or one larger person).

Excellent Air Bed, I recommend it!

5.0 / 5.0

This is an excellent bed. It inflates to a more firm support level than the other two airbeds I have owned in the past. It keeps its air for over a week without adding more. Very comfortable, I would recommend it.

Comfortable but loses air

4.0 / 5.0

I bought this to have a bed to sleep on for when my first grandchild arrives. It was easy to inflate and deflate. It was comfortable. I added air after it sat for a couple of hours. By morning, it had definitely lost more air. I don't know if it's the ambient air temperature (air contracts as it chills) or just the nature of air beds. For the price and what I bought it for, it does an adequate job.

Fine product that holds up to abuse.

I was extremely skeptical about using any bed other than my tempurpedic following back surgery but this bed fit the bill when we needed it. It fills up fast with the enclosed pump and it did not require any more air over four days of use. Our toddlers even had some fun on it without any problems.

a lot of research - time well spent

5.0 / 5.0

I spent a day researching different air beds on line. I am very pleased with this purchase. I used this mattress for company and they never had to refill the mattress with air. Two adults slept on the mattress for consecutive evenings and had no complaints at all. They both have back problems and absolutely loved the mattress support and the height of it as well. I would definitely recommend it.

TV Off, Funtime On

Once in awhile I get a nice reminder of why we do what we do, and how good life is when it seems to conform to our plans. Like this holiday weekend Up North. (Thanks for having the guts to cross an ocean, Columbus.) We’ve got company that showed up late Saturday night, a mom and two kids around Graham’s age. They arrived to find us already gathered around a campfire, S’mores supplies and beers all good to go. Then Sunday, I had a full day with the kids. A boat ride to ret

More on gas prices & trip to Maryland

More on gas prices & trip to Maryland October 12th, 2008 It looks like the financial system of the world is crumbling and along with that the price of oil is falling off the wall, but that’s a good thing. There are two problems I see here. The first is that he price at the pump isn’t falling at the same rate that the price of oil is falling. When oil is rising in price, the price at the pump goes up at the same rate. The second problem I see is that we will certainly be paying less at the p

Fan Camping Areas: Enter If You Dare

I swear, I have yet to find a group of fans, or people for that matter, that know how to party and express themselves better then NASCAR fans.  One only needs to take a walk through a camping area at a Cup race to discover this for themselves.  I can promise you it will be an entertaining, and probably educational experience. A common way to camp out at a race, that I discovered a while back, is the old converted school bus method.  With a little money, an old school bus, some ingenuity, and a

Welcome To Autumn

It’s definitely autumn in Seattle. Whenever my son gets home from playing with his friends he’s going to be gathering some firewood for the next few days. While some people don’t enjoy autumn in Seattle due to the frequently rainy, cold and dismal days, fall is definitely my favorite of the four seasons. Now that all of us here in the Phillips house have already broken out our fleece, I’m taking it to the next logical step and performing a review of my sweaters sometime today as well.
