Handles just don't stay on!

2.0 / 5.0

I purchased the 60oz Igloo maxcold for car camping, and after a couple of trips, the handle ripped off. Came right out of the side of the cooler. I recently had the latch brake on me, which I can repair, but be warned, the handles just do not hold up. It does a good job of keeping things cool, and with the wheels is easy to move around, but the handles, which are key to being able to move any cooler have much to be desired.

Cheaply made. Both handles came off

2.0 / 5.0

This cooler has only been used maybe a dozen times, but just this weekend the second handle came right off the outside casing. The first handle came off about 2 or 3 months after we bought it. Needless to say, I won't be buying another Igloo any time soon.

Best cooler I ever owned

5.0 / 5.0

Got this as part of my hurricane kit when I lived in Florida. We never used it for that, but it did honorable service during lots of parties. It kept ice chunks for days even in Florida heat, and kept sodas refreshingly cold. It is easy to clean out, too.

Party Time!!

5.0 / 5.0

We got this to take to our boat on weekends. Even adapted it to attach to the transom. I am small and can even manage it when full. Of course, it managed me down the ramp a couple times, but that's OK. I certainly highly recommend.

Great Cooler

5.0 / 5.0

After being outside for 6 days there were still a few ice chunks in there and everything was cold. Worked better than expected!

Eat to Live

I just had the worst energy bar. I don't know why I still buy this crap. I've heard that you're better off hauling Snickers bars than the overpriced REI food so I decided to find out. Mark Twight ( soooo dreamy) suggests consuming 200 Cal per hour while mountaineering in order to replenish depleted glycogen stores and avoid hitting the wall. Ideally 60-70% of this should come from carbs and the remainder from fat and protein. Here's the breakdown: Snickers Weight: 58.7g 280 Cal 14g

Homes for Heroes is looking for some help. What kind of help you ask? Well it is simple really. We have a long list and since it is the Christmas season, a list seems appropriate. As you look through the list you will see that we are not going after big buck items mostly volunteer time to get the word out. Homes for Heroes and the Homes for Heroes Foundation is hoping to make an impact on the housing needs of our Police, Firefighters, Soldiers and First Responders. Getting them into their dream
