Customer Reviews
VERY bright idea.

A far superior, but expensive upgrade. The incandecent beam is able to focus better than the LED, however all things considered, you will NOT be disappointed by this product.
The additional battery life is a definite plus and will surely help the LED pay for itself over time.
Made a good light great

I added this to a 2C mag lite. It made it much brighter without the annoying dark spot in the middle that I got with Nite Ezes LED upgrade.
Brilliant

This maglite upgrade module throws a brilliant white beam and appears brighter than the original incandescent bulb.
The batteries of your 2 cell C or D maglite will last more than four times longer than with the original lamp. The beam is still focusable via the rotating maglite head as before.
This module will likely outlast your flashlight as it is rated for 50,000 hours of continuous use. It will not easily break with shock like a fragile glass bulb.
To sum it all up; greater reliability, more light, longer battery life.
Awesome Upgrade!!

Need I say more! This is well worth the $$$. Very bright and I mean very bright. Not sure on how long a the battery will last with the new upgrade but I would guess its going to expend the battery life. A+++++
Worth the price?

I have a beaten down 4-cell and a bruised 3-cell flash lights that have seen so much action they're now rubbed down to the aluminum and look more silver than black. The problem has always been with the bulbs - I've spent more money replacing the bulbs than the original flashlights were worth. No more though - I've upgraded both with LED lights. The beam is focused and bright, EVEN with old batteries. Pretty happy overall, though one might consider getting the whole thing brand new for only $10-15 more. Or you can be cheap like me =)
