Adventure Medical Kit

4.0 / 5.0

Very light weight and water proof. Much cheaper than REI or other brands, yet has the same contents. Only concern is the durability.

EXPIRED GOODS

1.0 / 5.0

All of the ointments/pills expired in mid to late 2007.

Don't waste your money/time with this seller.

This first aid kit looks great, and is ideal for the 3-5 person hiking/camping trips that I take with friends and with family. However, the item shipped to me from Amazon was full of expired medical items. I purchased a similar item from a local outdoor-ing retailing. Give yourself enough time to expect a refund before getting a valid item.

Travel Light with a little extra peace of mind

5.0 / 5.0

I purchased this pack for a corporate leadership training course.

I needed something light weight, but comprehensive. This kit fit that criteria.

It has everything from cotton swabs, bandages, sterile dressings, diarrhea medicine, allergic symptoms medicine, gloves, safety pins and much more.

Flat out this was the most comprehensive light weight kit that I could find. I'm very please with the value of this product.

Great product!

5.0 / 5.0

I recently purchased this for someone else to take on their backpacking trip. I am an EMT in Montana, and I am very impressed with the amount of quality equipment they packed in there. Weight is a huge factor when you are hiking, and this kit weighs next to nothing, yet still has enough stuff to do a lot of work if needed. This has got to be, by far, the lightest and most versatile first aid kit out there for hiking/backpacking, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Eat to Live

I just had the worst energy bar. I don't know why I still buy this crap. I've heard that you're better off hauling Snickers bars than the overpriced REI food so I decided to find out. Mark Twight ( soooo dreamy) suggests consuming 200 Cal per hour while mountaineering in order to replenish depleted glycogen stores and avoid hitting the wall. Ideally 60-70% of this should come from carbs and the remainder from fat and protein. Here's the breakdown: Snickers Weight: 58.7g 280 Cal 14g
