Customer Reviews

Excellent choice for a full size hydration pack

5.0 / 5.0

I bought the M.U.L.E. for our teenage son. He uses it while riding a dirt bike. There are ample storage pockets to carry snacks, etc. You can even carry your iPod in a specially designed compartment. The straps are padded and fully adjustable to meet our needs. CamelBak quality is evident and worth the small difference in price. We have owned cheaper versions in the past, and the CamelBak is by far the way to go. $60 on Amazon and free shipping - Go for it!

Nice replacement for old one !

5.0 / 5.0

This was to replace original one bought about 5-6 years ago. It stood up to lots of abuse over the years of hiking and scrambling. Hopefully the new one lives up to that std too ! So far so good !

A really good system

5.0 / 5.0

I ordered this from Amazon back in the spring. I've used it day hiking and on a week long trip back packing to the Gila Wilderness in New Mexico. When carrying the back pack, I placed the entire thing in my back pack and routed the hose where I could drink from it. When day hiking from a camp I used the Camel Back to carry lunch as well as water. There is also room for a small camera and other odds and ends. It's really well made. The drinking tube doesn't leak. It's comfortable to wear. I really detest a water bottle or fanny pack bouncing against me. There's none of that with the Camel Back. We got caught in a late snow fall and cold weather snap. The drinking tube froze up but that's not the fault of the pack of course. Just means you may need to stuff the drinking tube inside the pack and if it's cold enough it will freeze anyway. This is the first one I've had and I found it really good for staying hydrated in the dry thin air. With this sytem you can take frequest small drinks rather than occasional large drinks from a bottle in the back pack. One of the members of our group is an avid back packer and he remarked that he was going to get one after seeing a couple of us using them.

Great Hydration Pack

5.0 / 5.0

Great pack carry's more than enough water for a good days hiking.
Also has a place for your iphone/ipod.
good zipper pickets to keep you keys a flashlight and eye protection safe.
Has good control straps to keep it from flopping all over your back and
making you sore.

good stuff
