Camping
This works fairly good over a camp stove. I think there are better ones, but not for the price.
tailgating with waffles
I got two of these for a morning football tailgater on a college campus. Used with a standard propane grill, they worked well. The handles, which screw into the waffle iron, tend to loosen with repeated use (approx. 50 waffles in my case, using two waffle irons). Built sturdy and with adequate teflon, I would recommend them for a season. Not sure how they would perform using a campfire.
coleman waffle iron
I bought this for camping, as my mom hates pancakes, but will tolerate waffles. We wanted to be able to make a cheap breakfast a couple times and this will allow us to do so. So far it works great. It seems to be made cheaply, but we only use it a few times a year, so its great for us.
