Bright Light

5.0 / 5.0

This is a good flashlight. I have several small LED flashlights, and, while they serve their purposes, I had no real "workhorse". Like most do-it-yourself homeowners, most of the repairs I make are done upside-down and in the dark -- under the house or under the sink or under the car. That's where having enough light really matters, and that's where a bright LED flashlight really shines.

The form-factor of this particular flashlight is not ideal for my purposes -- I'd like something that I could set somewhere and aim -- but other than that, I'm completely satisfied with it.

Big Kahuna 95 LED flashlight

As stated in other reviews, this product is made poorly. However it is a great deal for the price. Lots of light! Way more that a Mag light of the same size. About equivalent to my 1 watt LED Gordon from Harbor freight.

The more LED's the more I love it

5.0 / 5.0

This light lives up to its name for me....95 LED's wow. The only thing is it experiences the same flicker at times that the flashlights with 21 or 35 LED's do....it has to do with the batteries moving around. If you pull the spring out some in the back of the flahslight it puts more pressure on the batteries thus holding them better in place stopping the flickering. I think....this is only me thinking it has to do when the batteries move it must somehow change the current going to the led's and makes it flicker or blink in some cases.....this is just my thought. Putting more pressure on the batteries stops them from moving and the blinking or flickering goes completely away. I love it....more LED's please.

Generally agree....

....with most of the positive reviews. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that I don't believe it is as bright as the other reviewers claim. It is quite adequate and satisfactory and for my purposes it fills the bill. I am using it for a "house" flashlight because it is too bulky for my car and it's wide, bright beam seems better suited for that purpose. For my car I have a flashlight I bought from Sharper Image a couple of years ago which says "Emissive Energy Nova" on the bottom and that may be the brand and model. It runs on two 3V Lithium batteries that are supposed to last for years. Anyway it is actually brighter and projects it's beam further than the Big Kahuna and is only 6 inches long and in my opinion better suited for carrying in your vehicle.

Let there be light

This thing gives a great amount of light, albeit with a strange blue-ish cast, and that's what I bought it for. I haven't had it long enough to test it's battery longevity, but am hoping it'll be better than a bulbed flashlight. An experiment in progress.

say goodby to bad breath free e-book

Dr. Harold Katz You’re about to learn how you can have clean, fresh breath every day for the rest of your life. Bad breath is caused by Anaerobic Sulfur Producing Bacteria which normally live WITHIN the surface of the tongue and in the throat. These bacteria are supposed to be there, because they assist humans in digestion by breaking down proteins found in specific foods, mucous or phlegm, blood, and in diseased or “broken-down” oral tissue. Under certain conditions, these bacteria start

Rain, rain go away

Ok the rain was nice we did need some, but now it is time for the heat to come back. There is one advantage to the cooler weather - the people that are here get the whole pool area to themselves. We have a group of two families staying in a room and tenting site. The kids basically had the run of the pool yesterday. We cranked the heat back up so it is still nice and toasty in the water. They were swimming in the rain yesterday morning and didn’t seem to mind. We had another big family pass t

Misquito Season

Hey all! Coco here! I know I haven’t been contributing as much lately to the blog thang as Carmel has…. but I have a good excuse! I was eaten alive by misquitos during my 5 day camping trip! but seriously, does anyone really know why monquito bites are so itchy anyway? if you do, I’d love to know why. I have about 7 bites on the underside of each foot, and let me tell ya, it’s not pleasant. I don’t think I would wish this kind of torture on my worst enemy! Even as I speak, I am fighting th
