Not Bad... could be brighter
This is a well made convenient lantern and fits the needs for what I wanted it for, which is a general use lantern, without the heat of a kerosene lantern. The nice thing about this is it can be used inside and out. Don't to expect the brightness of a kerosene lantern and I believe you will be happy with it as well.
Great lantern for family car or rv camping
Coleman 8D Family Size LED Lantern We got this lantern at the start of the 2008 season, and it's proven itself to be a useful piece of gear. It lasts a long time (we have over 30 hours on the first set of batteries and they're still going strong) and throws-off a ton of light.

It is difficult to find a battery operated LED lamp that will last a long time, give off TONS of lumens, and have all the features needed for my emergency kits.
