Description

Sure, it's easier to open your eyes and drag yourself out of bed when you're facing a day of backcountry skiing instead of a long commute. But if a cup of hot coffee can make the workday bearable, just think of what it can do for a day on the slopes. Enter the Glacier stainless percolator, an ultra-rugged camp-style coffeemaker that will keep you caffeinated for years to come. Built to take a beating and keep on cooking, the Glacier is made of corrosion-resistant, marine-grade 18/8 stainless steel, with a virtually unbreakable PercView top made of Lexan resin. When you're ready to start your day, just add the proper amount of coffee--2 tablespoons for every 6 ounces of water is the ideal ratio--and you're set.

The Glacier comes in several sizes, depending on the severity of your coffee cravings and the number of people in your group. The smallest size makes three cups of coffee, whereas the largest produces a generous 28 cups, with several sizes in between. Other details include a flame-resistant Permawood handle that stays cool to the touch (available on the smaller models) and a convenient hinged lid. Dishwasher-safe, Glacier percolators make an ideal camping companion, and can be used on both the campfire and the camp stove.
