5.0 / 5.0

Excellent headlamp..very satisfied with performance. Fantastic for lighting up the night in a lightweight wearable headlamp.

However, I'm very dissappointed in not comparison shopping around enough. I thought Amazon would always have the best deal. This headlamp is not the newest model and is on clearance at REI for 10$ less than I paid.

I will definitely shop around more next time, since the newer model is updated with better bulbs. Considering how bright this headlamp is, the new improved version must be a stunner.

Black Diamond Spot

5.0 / 5.0

I purchased the Black Diamond Spot for my husband for Christmas. After doing considerable research for comfortability and ease, I determined the Black Diamond was what he needed. He runs 6-8 miles a day with our dog and often times it's after dark. The Black Diamond lit up the road and provided on coming traffic a bright enough light to make him and the dog visible.

Black Diamond Spot 1 Watt LED Titanium

5.0 / 5.0

This is a wonderful product. The long battery life comes from the use of LEDs, but what is a pleasnat surprise is the brightness delivered from the single 1 watt LED. I use it to run early in the morning while it is still quite dark in up state NY and both the steady on and flashing modes are quite useful. I like the comfort of the head strap and can't say enough good things about the design and overall quality.

Rant Against Cool Camping

source: © shopzilla - cath kidston tentCamping has come such a long way from the classic days and the simplicity portrayed by the likes of Carry on Camping. Today, you can go camping in the middle of nowhere and still get internet access via a satellite phone. It becomes impossible to get lost with a good GPS. We have almost insulated ourselves against nature. I have been bemused over the past two years by the media attention thrown over camping and the subsequent ‘coolness’ that has attached
