Description

At a mere 96g with batteries, the Quad is the lightest in Princeton Tec's line of regulated-LED headlamps.  Four Ultrabright LEDs power through the darkest conditions. The LEDs are safe forever inside a tough waterproof housing that will survive severe impacts and water submersions up to 1 meter. The wide beam of the Quad is perfect for tasks around camp and is bright enough for technical scrambles and brisk runs on dark trails. Equipped with regulated LEDs that maintain constant brightness and a battery power meter. Compact design rotates 90 degrees to illuminate any situation. Allows the use of lithium AAA batteries which reduce the Quad's weight to 82 grams. Performs better in extremely cold temperatures, and significantly increases regulated burn times on all modes. Strap buckle doubles as tool to open battery pack. Lifetime warranty.

Good product

4.0 / 5.0

This is a good product. If used while running it tends to slip down on the head over time.

Great LED head light

5.0 / 5.0

I mounted this on a hard hat with hook and loop tape so I can switch back and forth between the head strap and the hat. Very bright and I like having the light wherever I turn my head. Nice comfortable strap high, med, low power settings (and flash). Very long battery life on low (and flash).

Princeton Tec Quad Headlamp

5.0 / 5.0

Having used both, this headlamp is better than the competing Petzl Tikka Plus. The Quad has a better switch, is more waterproof and gets better battery life, and Princeton Tec is an American company. Hope this helps.

Can't live without

5.0 / 5.0

I love this headlamp, and made it a frequent flier this year at Christmas.
Once you have one of these, for walking the dog at night, seeing in dark spaces around the house, it becomes indispensable.

Comfort and Great Light

5.0 / 5.0

I used this headlampPrinceton Tec Quad Headlampon a recent 6-day backpacking trip. It worked great, providing excellent lighting in a choice of 3 different intensities. Best of all, it was lightweight and very comfortable to wear.

It is Fall Foliage Time In Michigan

It is Fall Foliage Time In Michigan Nov 20th, 2008 by Penelope SanMateo by Penelope SanMateo The colors in the Upper Peninsula in the fall will be well worth the trip to see. There are nine different areas that are suggested. The first is a trip of 105 miles from Hancock to Lake Linden, on to Lac La Belle, Bete Grise and then to Copper Harbor. Leave Copper Harbor and go to Eagle River and on to Calument and Laurium and back to Hancock. The route covers Mackinac County with the peak color ex

How to Travel Solo

Travelling alone can be a grand adventure – but it can also be a great risk. Here are the steps to take if you are venturing on a solo trip. If not, spend your time before your trip in a variety of solo activities so you get used to the solitude: eat at restaurants, go to local museums etc. If you are going on a solo camping trip, go for a trial run to make sure you can comfortably carry all th
