Great Water Bottle!

5.0 / 5.0

The bottles are working out great. My wife was continuing to reuse a bottle that we got when she purchased a bottle of water. I was using an insulated bottle of unknown plastic composition.

After we read about the risks of chemical pollution if your bottle is made of the wrong kind of plastic we were happy to find these bottles made of high density polyethylene, which is not only good from a nonpolluting standpoint as to the water in the bottle, but is also environmentally acceptable from the standpoint of eventual disposal of the bottles.

I missed the insulated aspect of the bottle, but I have found that if I freeze the new bottle half full of water when the bottle is partially laying on its side, that I get cold water for a long time when I fill it up later for use.

Ordered these thru Amazon. The vendor was prompt in getting them to us. We have used Nalgene products for many years and decided to buy these new bottles because they are made with HDPE instead of the old questionable plastics of our old standby bottles. We loved our old ones, so we expect to love these new ones, too.

Wenzel Camping Gear Sold Online

Wenzel is a company that has been in business since 1887. The camping company does not make many products and I guess that is why their few products are considered quality products. In addition, they do not cost that much when compared to other big names in the camping industry. Wenzel camping gear consists of dome tents, screen rooms, airbeds, and sleeping bags; that's all. They are known for each one of their product types. They don't sell a lot through retail stores however they do have a web

Tougher ‘n Jeeper A TALE OF TWO BROTHERS                                                                      Okay, I’m a rugged individualist with a thin wallet.  But I know I have to find a vehicle to replace that broken-down VW bus with the flowers and peace-symbols on it that my hippie father stored away in the 70’s to save for me or my degenerate kid brother.       Well, my brother lost out!       I got the bus because I opted to be broke and go to college, while Lil’ Bro’ dropped out of

Camping and Rv’ing - Read All About It!

While reading about camping and RVing is a distant second to actually being out in nature and doing it, camping and RV’ing magazines provide some great information about camping units, camping destinations, camping gear, camping food, plus a lot more. My husband thinks I go a little overboard on my camping and RV magazine subscriptions and he’s entitled to his opinion, but I’m going to keep reading and enjoying them! If that camper or Rv’er on your Christmas list is really difficult to buy

Hopefully I’m not getting sick…

November 30, 2008 Well It’s been a good week and we had a good Thanksgiving.  Right now however I feel like I have to crap, burp, and my stomach generally feels funny.  I hope I’m not getting sick.  I hope it’s just because I’m tired and need sleep and tried to sleep on the floor last night with my daughter to “camp out” in a tent. I also have had way too much caffeine.  I had a Rockstar Fruit punch today along with about 3 Coke Zero’s.  *eek* I know if I have too much caffeine I get all agitat
