Customer Reviews
Looks real. Works as described.

Works perfectly. You may need a screwdriver to open. I keep one stashed nearby. I also screw it in just tight enough that it won't open, but loose enough for me to open with my fingernail.
Not for stashing large items. A couple of keys maybe.
Fooled Everyone

The realism of this fake rock hide-a-key is pretty impressive. The bottom slide is a little difficult to open, which I like. Nothing like picking up a rock and having a key fall out of it. No....this one does the job well and shhhh!......it really does look like a dirty rock.
Solves a problem!

Like many people we have a potential problem of getting locked out of the house. Or, we sometimes want to make a key available to someone when we are not home to give them access. The product solves that problem.
It's a lightweight but very realistic rock-like hiding place where you can put a key.
I give it 4 stars instead of 5 as I feel the ideal solution would probably have a sliding door. This one is sealed with a screw and you have to be careful you don't seal it too tightly or you could not retrieve the key without a screwdriver. It is nice to have something that closes rather than being open at the bottom, so that you don't lose the contents if the rock or surrounding soil is disturbed.
